I have a friend who has an iphone with firmware 1.1.1 its in great condition, unlocked and jailbroken and I have two questions.

1: What would the price be if the phone were to get sold? Expected? $350-400

2: Should she update or the 1.1.1 is more valuable?

It would be a good idea to leave it and let the buyer decide. It's easy enough to upgrade if they want to after they buy the phone

Why would 1.1.1 that is not jailbroken be more valuable?

I'll give you $30, pm me if you're interested =).

Hard to say what it would be, it really depends on where the buyer lives and what type of apps he/she wants

ha, Not really. Like someone said above, the user can upgrade by themselves. And $350 sounds like a really good price.
Perhaps things have changed in the eBay world. Last I checked, unlocked and jailbroken phones sells much higher than locked...and most certainly 1.1.1 firmware phone.

i see what your saying, mostly because people think they can't unlock it themselves
