I'm selling my macbook and I have snow leopard installed..

I wanna completely wipe the machine so it's fresh like when you get it out of the box. Used to do this all the time on windows but how do I do this on mac? do I just pop in the disc and format the drive or what?

If theres any guides around a link would be appreciated . Thanks.

startup from the install disc by holding C, erase the hard drive from Disk Utility fromthe Utilities menu, then install. when you get to the startup movie and user setup just turn it off. when the new user turns it on the startup movie and user setup will open.
