Just sold my 32Gig Verizon iPad 3 on C.L. and got $550 for it (along with 20 different scam messages). First time I used C.L. and it went smooth as silk. You just have to keep your eyes opened.

I'm in the same boat as you. I have my 32GB/AT&T iPad on Craigslist listed for $600 and all I'm getting are ridiculous offers. As much as I want the fourth-generation iPad, I refuse to let this upgrade hit me hard on the wallet. I'm willing to come down a little but I'm not gonna give it away either.

This one guy offered me $500 and I met him halfway at $550 and he insisted on $500. Screw that!

I live in Orlando as well. It's a tough market. Lots of middle buyers funneling Apple products down to South America or to International Tourist visiting Orlando's theme parks.

You will get a lot of low ballers. Some of these guys are professionals and make a living off seeing how low they can get some buyers and immediately flip the product for profit to a ready buyer visiting the USA from another country.

You're so right about that. I live three miles from Disney (I actually work there) and every time I go to Best Buy or my local Walmart there are BUSES full of Brazilian and Japanese tourists, buying by the pallets. Maybe I ought to stand outside one of those places and try selling my iPad there instead of Craigslist. :D

450 is a good target price considering the refurbs at the Apple store are 469.00 for 32GB... with new outer shell:D

I put my 16GB WiFi ipad on Craig's list asking for $400 because it has Applecare + on it till 2014.

So far the best offer I've received in response has been for $250.. and that's only if I toss in a $50 leather case.

It's a little on the high side for an intro/baseline iPad - for $99 more they can get an iPad 4.
the psychological barrier is the number "4" that people see - try $395 or $390. Your offers may change. $5 or $10 isn't going to change your profit margins drastically.
Hang in there, you will get the right offer.

Like the other poster said. $379 is selling price for refurbished iPad with 12 months of warranty.

It's all about supply and demand on Craigslist. $250 is way to low for 16gb iPad 3 wifi. But you won't get $400 for yours either.

AppleCare plus isn't a big deal to most people since they know they can get other iPad 3 with at least 5 months warranty left and most people don't drop iPads like iPhones.

Lower price to $390 and hopefully you can sell it between $350-390. Don't offer the leather case (if u intend to use it for iPad 4).

I'll think I'll keep it rather than letting it go for a lowball offer, having to then shovel out another $250 plus tax to get iPad 4 with AppleCare + to replace a device I've only had for 5 months isn't something I'm really happy about doing.
