Selling my iPhone

Have a question. Is my only option thru iTunes to backup my iCloud ? I plan to sell my 7 and looking at the One+ 5 if I decide to give Android a shot.

I'm not sure if I will prefer Android but I want to make sure if I dont, I'm able to setup the new iPhone as I left my 7.

iTunes can be used to make an encrypted backup on the local computer. That's the option I would use.

You Apple account and iCloud data will still be in the cloud so if you return to Apple you can use it to restore your new iPhone.
