I'm pwning my Mac and I want to delete everying except the programs.
What folders must I delete?
I'm guessing you're trying to preserve some applications that did not come with the Powerbook? That gets complicated.
What one should actually do, when they are going to sell his/her computer is use the restore disk that was included with the machine. Go into the disk utility, from that restore disk, go to the formating tab, go to the additional options, and then select "write zeros to entire disk." This provides decent protection against someone recovering your files. Of course, after this, you would need to resinstall your system, and the only programs remaining would be the ones that shipped with the computer. It is the best way to do it though.
