    Hello,

Like the title says I am selling my PowerMac G4. But I have a bunch of files that have my personal information. Is there anyway that I can delete all the files at once but keep the necessary files to actually use the computer like the software. Please let me know as soon as possible because I plan on selling it tomorrow. Thanks

I would do a clean install. Better to spend the time and be safe.

Either create a new admin user, then log into that user and delete your old account via Finder, including emptying the Trash (can be done SECURELY) and then use Disk Utility and its ERASE FREE SPACE button to overwrite all the deleted data.
Or reinstall Mac OS X and use Disk Utility to wipe the HDD before you install Mac OS X. Depending on the size it may only take an hour.

Guide on how to use Disk Utility from the restore / installation DVD.

That does not delete any data, only overwrites some part of it in order for the new OS to take a seat on the HDD.
