Selling original oil paintings of NBA players, Nike shoes, etc. Is this legal?

I believe private, person to person, art sales are completely irrelevant with regards to copyright law only insofar as they would never become publicly sold.

You have a right to your own beliefs but not your own facts.

Hmmm. You're right, its paint by numbers. Its craft really. The word "artist" fit the wording of my prior post, anyone can plainly see thats not art.
