Selling Powermac G4 Buying Intel Mini

I've decided to sell my powermac g4 which will come with Tiger (EBAY), and buy an INTEL mini. I think that they'll come out in january so I'll buy one. The reason is that the powerpc will be really old, and useless. SO Intel will be better if I plan to use it for 2 years.

Is this a good decision?
