Just wondering what I have to do to prepare my macbook to sell ( security wise). Getting all my personal information off the mac?

Ok this is going to be a stupid question, but I have to ask. How do I do a clean install?
 
Put your osx disk into drive hot restart when it appears or put disc in drive and hit either alt or c whilst it boots up. YOu can wipe out the hard drive if you choose zeroing it. Takes ages, or just do a reinstall of the OS.
