Semi OT: Anyone using a drafting table as their main/audio desk?

I found one I love. Might jump at it but it'd be perpendicular for 99% of the time with my MBP, MPK25 and PadKontrol on it (and hopefully 27" ACD). Seems almost wasteful, but I thought I'd ask if anyone else was rocking one.

It's not a drafting table, but I've got a huge ikea gallant work bench that spans the length of the room - about 2.5 meters, I think. Cheers to having a simple, therefore usable work space.
