I love leather. I have always purchased my cases from Sena or Vaja for my Clie and Treos (Yes I am a PalmOS convert). Their leather is always top notch.

    There are many options though:
I have used Sena MagnetFlipper case for my 1st gen iPhone and so much used to it:
Now they have a new Wallet style case for iPhone 3G and I do not want to miss the pre-order discount:

I always carry 2 credit cards, 1 starbucks card (mmm I gotta get one now), and 1 Driver's license. It looks like this may work but I like the protection of the flip style cases.

    Which one should I get?

I imported (US to UK)the Sena Dockable for the 1st gen iPhone back in November 2007 and in the last 9 months its gotten looser as the leather got more used, getting to the point where it was safer not to use the case as it was falling out all the time due to the looseness of the case.

Funny thing is now, it fits my 3G like a glove without any issues whatsoever.

Wirelessly posted (Apple Communication Device: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5A345 Safari/525.20)

I made up my mind. I'm gonna order that wallet style. Hmm... what color to get... Anybody have the croc? How is it? Does it feel cheap?

Good. I thought about using my MagnetFlipper for 1st gen too but the sensor hole is at a different location. I can mod my case but it may not look good.

I think I will try out the wallet style as well before the special ends. I will use a screen protector.
My MagnetFlipper was black croc and it looks really good. I would get a croc. I remember seeing a coupon code somewhere. Must google ...
