The UltraSlim for iPhone 4 is smaller, therefore a nicer and tighter fit.
See post #13 in this thread.

I've got an incipio feather case on mine and have been searching for a 3G UltraSlim case to see whether it would fit with the feather case on there. I placed my i4 with feather case next to my old 3G and its still thinner than the 3G. I just can't find a store anywhere that carries the 3G ultraslim at the moment to see whether it would fit before buying.

My sena ultra slim must be ready as i have had my dispatched email now and i ordered late in the day - towards the end of June..........should be here in two days whoop whoop..... I purchased the brown version..

I think I will pick up one of these for a spare case. for my mom. She likes these kind of case. Why?, I will never know. By the time she gets the phone out of the case she's missed the call lol.

never had that problem myself must be a 'mum' thing lol

Wow those Vinyl antenna stickers look awesome :)

Just a quick question about the case to those who have used it on other the previous iPhones... Does the phone remain firm inside the case after extended use, for example say half a year? Thanks :)

yes it does.. i have used the ultraslim pouch on my 3g, 3gs, and now iphone 4. it does stay tight and secure. only issue is that it will get a little dirty overtime and the top of the pouch started to separate, but since they now stitch that part i think it will fix that issue. good luck.

Just wanted to say I ordered a brown ultra slim on Monday. When I ordered, the case was backordered, no expected shipping date given. Yesterday I received an email that the case had shipped, expected delivery on Friday. So even though the website may say backordered, or not yet available, they are shipping colors other than black (well brown anyway).

My tan Ultraslim arrived yesterday and is very similar to what I remember of the one I had for my 2G. This one is constructed better, with the lining stitched instead of glued (my old one eventually separated). It's a little snug, but if I remember correctly, that will loosen up after a week or so.

Thankyou very much for that. The Ultraslim is the only leather pouch that I have found that is so simplistic and does the job perfectly, even at a great price.

Mine started loosening up after a couple of hours use.

Fit?

Can anyone who has their Ultraslim and the iphone4 tell me if the top of the phone is *beneath* the lip of the pouch when inserted into the case? It looks in the photos like the phone is right at or even a millimeter or two higher then the top of the case and I prefer my phone to be recessed by a couple mm.

Thanks!~

I received my Black Ultraslim for iPhone 4 yesterday. Even after pushing my iPhone 4 quite a bit, I find it extending a millimeter or so out on the top of the case (The thickness of the steel band on the top).

I remember my 3GS Ultraslim case to be the other way (The case used to be extending a millimeter or so on top of the iPhone).

I found this too, but after a few days it seems to have worn its way down further into the case - maybe as the leather softens - I think it is probably about level with the top of the case now - I can take some pics in a bit with the phone fully inside the case to illustrate.

On closer inspection while the phone now moves further into the case than it first did - the phone probably sticks out a tiny bit from the case - the case is certainly NOT higher than the phone.

Thanks for all your posts and pictures, it's very helpful! I've been debating this case but will wait until I see if it can sit slightly lower in the case over time.

Not to deviate from this topic - A good alternative to the Sena Ultraslim could be the iKonicedge SuperSlim.

Website - http://ikonicedge.com/

I had the iKonicedge case too for my 3GS and absolutely loved it. The leather on this is definitely better and natural looking than Sena. After a year of use, the iKonic edge case still looked new. Also, their cases are a couple of mm longer than the iPhone and hence offers good protection to the top too.
