"Text 'HAITI' to 90999 to donate $10 to Red Cross relief efforts!" or, "Text 'Yele' to 501501 to donate $5 to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund."
be sure to do some research to make sure that the place your donating to is legit.

I did 10. though I was a bit surprised not to get a automated response that that confirms it. I got that when I donated to antihero charity I had to send a confirmation text

If you texted HAITI to 90999, you'll eventually get a response. You'll actually get a confirmation that you have to respond YES to in order to complete the donation. It took me about half an hour, I think their systems are pretty overloaded right now, which is a good thing.

You now can donate directly from iTunes on the main page. Not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere.

I've never asked for help from the tax payers, Ive only given help to those who need it from my own country.

    Disgusting.

I hope you are out tomorrow then feeding and freeing those in your home country from collapsed buildings and total destruction. You know you can help both rather than an either or attitude, juvenile.

Not interested in your response or rephrasing what is obvious. Move along.

i did this last night. really quick and easy, and revolutionizing donations. most everyone (except in extreme situations) can afford to send $5 to those who really need it.

I donated through iTunes (I'm not sure if the text thing would work for me since I'm not in the U.S.).

Don't worry, everyone outside America isn't actually human, so there is no need to worry about them :)

PS look at my location before taking seriously
