Handoff or enable iCloud for Safari.

With iCloud enabled you can access tabs you've had open in OS X on your iPhone (and vice versa) when you show all tabs.

True, but iCloud doesn't have range. Handoff is limited to Bluetooth range and doesn't help if you wanted to access a tab an hour later or so. Also I did say Handoff before I mentioned iCloud.

What's the context? You could also consider saving the article to a service like pocket or Pinboard where it can also be accessed later.

also sending from what platform? Quite an assumption that you're using an OSX machine..
