so .... I just decided to try the 'send later' feature .... I composed the email, scheduled the time for it to send and the email was placed in a newly created 'send later' folder but it didn't send! the intended recipient didn't receive it and it isn't in the 'sent' folder.

anyone else having this problem?

I don't use Mail on macOS, but I just tried sending an email to one of my email accounts using Mail on macOS with the Send Later feature. I got the "mail sent" sound effect, but no "Send Later" folder was created for me, not did the message appear in the "Sent" folder. However, a couple minutes later it showed up under Sent, but at a time 2 minutes later than I had told it to send. I had sent a second test email this way as well, but have yet to see that show up anywhere. I'm guessing it might in a few minutes?

I don't understand why Mail never created a "Send Later" folder like it did for you. Definitely seems to be a buggy feature. I've used Gmail's send later feature on their web interface many times and it works flawlessly.

did a test on my iPhone and it worked as expected. the problem seems to be with Ventura on my M1 MBA.

And FYI, that second test email I sent never got sent (never appeared in sent mail nor was it received by my other account). That's pretty bad that an email simply disappears into thin air! Can't even go back to copy/paste and resend!

I am having the same issue. I tried it for the first time and scheduled an email to be sent this morning at 3:55. It went to the outbox, but never sent. I tried a few more times with the same result. This feature clearly needs some work!

Did you have computer turned on and Mail open at 3:55? If not it can't send the email if you turn it off.

The computer was in sleep mode. I am up at 4:00 and when I woke the computer from sleep the mail did not send. I tried a few more times creating emails and scheduling them for 10 minutes after I created them and none of them sent
