Hi . I am using mail v 1.3.9

I have a .mac account. I have a new email address that right now is just a simple fowarding account. people can email me there, and it will go straight into my .mac account.

When I email people though, i want it to show that its coming from this new email address. Is that possible? And can i switch back and forth?

thanks,
David

This has been answered more than once, but if you don't want to set up another account in Mail you can just add another email address to the Email Address field in Mail preferences -> Accounts -> [Your account] -> Account Information. Separate them with a comma (,) and you'll be able to choose between those as senders address from new Mail messages. ;)

Edit: Beaten. I know I shouldn't have been so helpful... :p

I should of course mention that Mitthrawnuruodo is the author of the thread I linked. ;)

And why be helpful when you can be flippant? :D
Well I just had one very off topic post in the linked post...

But I have answered these kinds of answers before, so I know the answer by heart... I'm just a very slow typer... ;)

I thought that would be quicker than doing a search... Man, was I wrong... ;)
