Ok, thanks... just wanted to be sure. Some will tell you to try unpairing/etc. That seems extreme. I guess I would try some of the obvious things first..

1) Power off the watch and then back on
2) Turn off Siri on the watch and then back on
3) Turn off raise wrist and then turn back on... just as a hunch
Tried everything with no success

This is the only way I can get it to work, too.

Having to "Hey Siri" twice is a bit annoying, but it beats having to try to tap the screen with your nose because you're cooking and have water and vegetable bits all over your fingers. It's a little shaky, but mostly it works.

Or you could just wait thirty seconds to send your message when your hands are clear. Sheesh..first world problems.

I'm a bit warey of 'Hey Siri' become it activated once without saying Hey Siri!

Also in Siri 'phone X' rang someone else by mistake.

It's quite easy. You use your phone instead. That way, your watch never gets touched.

BTW: I typically just say:

"Hey Siri tell (person) (message)"

For instance:

"Hey Siri tell my wife I'm on my way home"... works perfectly and is a lot more natural.
One of the best Siri responses I've ever got back was when I was with my Mom and she asked me to send a message to Dad for her. I raised my wrist and said "Hey Siri, text Dad 'Mom says (message)'" and Siri replied "I'm sorry. I don't know who your Dad's Mom is."

I can confirm watch os 2 does do this and os 2 is solid.
I can confirm this as well and what is so nice is that you do not need to wait or keep you arm up for anything you ask siri to do. Haptic feedback will inform you if it needs more info or will give you feedback that it added a reminder or appt, etc.

I love just saying "Hey Siri - send a text to my wife and tell her I will be home in 15 minutes" and immediately lower my arm knowing that SIRI is going to send it and almost always perfect with the wording. Actually way more accurate than me typing with my big fingers and that stupid auto correct ;o)

I know I can send a text with less words, but I like the natural flow and siri doesn't add the extra words. Very slick...

I've mentioned some commands before but I love reminding about some I use and how I use it...

"Hey Siri - Add Apple and Bananas to my grocery lists" - I raise my wrist and say Hey Siri and as soon as the screen looks to be responding, I say my command and lower my arm. No waiting, no wondering. A few seconds later, I get a haptic feedback confirming the addition to my grocery list on my phone under reminders.

The cool feature is that even if your phone is not connected to your watch or you left it at home, you can still add the reminder to the watch (same for appt's, etc) and they will still work. Also, when your phone comes back in range, the watch will update the phone. Very slick... same for IM Messages when you are on a known wi-fi network your phone isn't with you or out of range. You can have siri send IM Messages and it will be delivered and will eventually, when the phone is back in range, it will update your phones message history.

Let me see if I understand this. You lift your wrist, screen comes on and while it is on you say something like, "Hey Siri, tell Mom I'll be late" - and nothing at all happens? Not even a screen change showing some processing is going on?

If so, I'll make one suggestion. When the screen is on, don't say anything. Hold the crown button in to activate Siri. It should change the screen for input. If it works that way, it may at least narrow down the problem. If it doesn't even change screens for voice input, then maybe watch needs replacing?

Just a thought.
