Send text when reaching a location

I currently use icoming. However, it shuts itself off on occasion and sometimes doesn't reset for the next day. I like the way the program works other than these issues.

Is there any other apps similar to this program that will send a text when a certain location is reached and has some type of battery saving technique?

does it have to be a text? in iOS5 on iP4 or iP4S, the new Reminders app will display a reminder & alert when you leave/arrive at a predetermined place.
