Send to iCloud email error

My fiancé got iCloud set up today but whenever I send from my iCloud account to her iCloud account I get an error stating The recipient xxxx@me.com was rejected by the server because the user is unknown.
She is able to send email to me from this account and sending her mail from my gmail account is working. Any ideas what could be causing this issue? Both running iOS 5.

I have the exact same problem. Tried so create a @me.com account for my girlfriend and it seems like it works. She can send email from that address, but whenever I try replying to that account the following error appears on my iPhone:

Cannot Send Mail
A copy has been placed in your
Outbox. The recipient
"xxx@me.com" was
rejected by the server because the
user is unknown.

Any ideas?
