Send to Kindle

I have an icon in Safari that says send to kindle. I also have a Kindle app on my iPad. How do I synchronize the two? I hit send to Kindle and it says sending, but it doesn't show up anywhere.

Are you sure it's not in the Archive on your iPad? As far as I know, on non-Kindle devices, new items get placed in the Archive, not the "active" items.

No, nothing in Archives. My books all sync on the Kindle app.

I have a feeling it's with my email@kindle, but I have no idea where to enter it.
