anything built into Tiger to send a fax?

Any apps out there that do this?

Thanks,

Mike

It's implemented as a printer. Pick File->Print from your app, then on the PDF button, pick Fax PDF…

You can set up the faxing details in System Preferences, under the Print & Fax icon. You can also set up receiving there, if you have a phone line available for that.

Dumb question: Do you need to be hooked up to a phone line if you are only sending a fax? I don't know how you could magically fax over the internet, but I'm confused as to how this works.

This fax service will send any PDF (so pretty much anything you scan) and many other formats, and will allow people to fax you (which you will receive as a PDF via email). It is, however, a pay service, but cheaper for me than keeping a fax line and it works anywhere that I am connected to the network.

what about if u want to scan afew pages and send them all in one fax... is there a scan to fax application out there ?
There probably is something around that's specific to fax, but iPhoto works pretty well for this.

What's my fax number?

I've sent a fax before but how do I get a fax?
Is there a number I can give to people?
I use a USB high speed wireless verizon internet service.
