Hey all

so im having issues sending email from my college's email account. I have two email addresses on my iphone, the primary is Gmail, and the secondary is my school's mail (an IMAP account). When I try to send an email from my college email i get an error message that reads "The sender address xxx@xxxx.edu was rejected by the server" and it places the email in my outbox. I have no problem recieving mail, nor do i have any problems with my gmail account. i have the port in the outgoing mail server separated by a colon so that isn't the problem. any suggestions?

thanks :)

Ok. Then either the wrong method of authentication is being used or your e-mail address or password info are bad. I bet ya re-entered it, but check if not. Otherwise all i xan suggest is to compare setting to a desktop if you have not.
