Sending in my ONLY Mac for repairs...

Thanks, everyone. I'm trying to rationalize getting a backup by adding up the money I'll lose by not working...but it's a tough sell to a husband who is so NOT a computer person. I'll probably end up downgrading my old Dell from Vista to XP, installing my old PC versions of Photoshop and Dreamweaver and spewing forth many expletives during the torturous waiting period while my MacBook Pro is in the shop.
