Sending message as Text Message

It used to work when you held on a message in the message app and pressed More, you could "Send as SMS" or something of that nature.

This appears to now be gone in iOS 8.3. (And maybe earlier.)

Is this not something we can do on an iPhone any more?

You can do it while the iMessage hasn't been delivered yet, but once it has been delivered that option isn't available anymore. It's been like that pretty much since the beginning (of iMessage).

Ah, ok.

Not how I remember it but you are probably right.

And I assume delivered means the other end has an iPhone for sure, so I guess I am good then. LOL.
