Hey, got a refurbished Iphone from att.com. I restored to 1.1.4 and then jailbroke and activated it using Ziphone about 2 months ago. It started freezing all the time. Then, I tried iliberty and it works for a little while and then it freezes. So, apple sent me out a box and now i am sending it back. I do not have a phone number (they told me to remove sim card and didnt care about me not having phone #). I NEVER Unlocked the phone. Just used it for wifi/internet music etc.
Will they be able to tell that i jailbroke or activated it through a 3rd party?
Just to let u know, I restored it to 1.1.4 just now and it freezes even when the itunes/cable activation symbol appears.
Funny thing is, this Iphone came activaited already with 1.1.something and was ready to use right out of the gate.

i hear alot of problems with these refurbished ones!

No. Restore in iTunes and send it back. Done.
