What solution do u have when u want to send work files, or personal files to friends, but using a free solution? Some cloud storages, have limited time for keeping files, that would not really work for me. Do u have something in mind that could help?
Obviously yes - 10 seconds looking at the website will tell you that.
Resilio Sync is a service that works on the same principle (and it also has to be installed at both ends), it's now all-features free for personal use and is suitable if you plan to do this very often.
Wetransfer is still a commonly used method to to deferred transfers, but it's limited to 2Gb free and there is no long-term archival (free is a week).
Also obviously, unless you're working for a real two-bit outfit, work should be paying for work transfers / a secured cloud service. It shouldn't be on you.

If you are uploading files that are for your work, making those files available should be paid by your work (maybe it would be a reimbursible expense)
"a real two-bit outfit" means the boss is known to be a cheapskate/stingy. Work expenses should not be on you (unless you are the boss/owner
I've used pCloud Transfer for sending files for free - though similar to WeTransfer it only provides a download link available for 7 days. It's better on size as you can send up to 5gb files with no signup (WeTransfer has the 2gb limit). If you need storage for longer term, a free account with someone like Dropbox (or any of the others already suggested) should be fine.
For work files I would be surprised if wherever you're working doesn't have a cloud storage solution? The company I work for uses Microsoft so all files are shared from SharePoint, we wouldn't normally use another third party app as the IT team would probably require us to stick with the company-approved sharing method.
Double check with free storage accounts as some do have limitations. Eg. Box.com has a 250mb upload limit on free account even though you get 10gb storage. 🤷♂️
