Sensitivity of wrist movement

It seems my watch is not as sensitive to my wrist movement as I would like. I know many have the opposite problem, where any slight movement turns on the home screen and thus drains the battery.

But when I'm sitting in a meeting and trying to indiscreetly look at my watch, I have to really move my wrist to tap on the screen.

Any suggestions for this?

If you have a Series 2, you can roll the crown up to discretely wake the screen.

I knew about that feature but haven't used it that way. I will give it a shot. 🙂

You can also lightly tap the face to wake it.

yes, I typically light tap. sometimes the tap isn't so light. ha!
