I know that i'm stupid but I am wondering if anyone knows for sure what will happen?
I dropped my iPod 4g 8gb and the glass shattered, I am not under warranty, and i sent it in without thinking.
Does anyone know if for sure the device will just be refused service?

No. You're paying the out of warranty repair price for the damage. Apple doesn't care that it was jailbroken, the only time it's an issue is if you are looking for warrantied service when the jailbreak caused the damage to the device.

Thank you for your reply FlatlinerG it calmed me down enough to get my papers done. Also reporting that apple did in-fact service the iPod and a replacement is being shipped.
