Sent messages not showing up on iPhone

Hello,

When I open the "Sent" folder on my iPhone, it shows 2 recent messages and then a bunch of old messages from months ago. It is not showing all the messages it should be showing, I have at least 20 sent messages in the last 2 days. My mail.app and me.com show those sent messages fine.

Any ideas?

Edit: There are gaps in all my folders, not just Sent items.
