Hi everyone,
I am the independent developer behind MonoWare and Senvra.
Senvra is a fully local, highly customizable private-space app for iPhone and iPad. It does not require an account, cloud service, subscription, or network access.
At a glance
- Fully local: all vault features and private-content processing run on-device
- No account, Senvra-hosted cloud, automatic upload, ads, or subscription
- No network requests, Local Network access, or in-app networking layer
- One password directly opens one independently keyed space; no real-space list is exposed before unlock
- Rich per-space customization for names, private notes, marks, themes, backgrounds, title and date treatments, frames, and card materials
- AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption for items, metadata, and thumbnails
- $6.99 one-time purchase
What it stores
- Photos and Live Photos
- Video
- Audio and recordings
- Files and PDF documents
- Rich-text notes
How the spaces work
Each private password is an entry route to one independently keyed space. Senvra does not reveal a list of real spaces before unlock. A wrong password does not reveal the number, names, covers, or position of existing spaces.
Make each space your own
Each space can have its own name, private note, mark photo or symbol, theme color, background image or pattern, background opacity and scale, title and mark-frame styles, date styling, and card material. These choices are stored per space, so separate spaces can have distinct visual identities.
Fully local by design
All vault features and all private-content processing run entirely on-device. Senvra makes no network requests, asks for no Local Network access, and includes no in-app networking layer. If a user explicitly opens Support, iOS hands the website URL to the system browser; the vault itself never connects.
Protection
Items, metadata, and thumbnails are protected with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption. Opening a private space and performing key actions adds an event to an encrypted, append-only activity chain. The owner can later review timestamps and verify whether the chain is intact.
Recovery
No hosted cloud means recovery remains the user's responsibility. Each space has a user-held access key, and Senvra can create and verify encrypted portable backups. If both the password and access key are lost, there is no server-side reset.
Price
Senvra is $6.99 as a one-time purchase. There is no monthly or annual subscription.

I am particularly interested in feedback on three design choices: independent password-routed spaces instead of a visible vault list, per-space visual identity, and user-controlled encrypted backup instead of automatic cloud sync. I will monitor this thread and answer technical or product questions directly.
