Still no white iPhone release date.

I sat through the whole thing hoping something would be mentioned about the white iPhone. I suppose the "later this year" line was literal and it is going to be a holiday season release.

They need to just take the friggin' thing off their website until it is actually ready to ship out. It has been "unavailable for order or in-store pickup" since late June. It is time to either ship them out or take it down. Preferably the former!

Yeah. I've seen a few rumors from Chinese factory "insiders" saying they might not be released until sometime in 2011, which seems strange. I certainly hope this thing sees the light of day.
