i don't know what it is about September but i can't seem to find a wallpaper i like enough to keep around longer than a few days. here's a more recent shot:

From one pilot to another: don't drop the airplane to fly the camera.

Its a very nice picture, but I agree with Mrock 100x over. As someone who's flown in more bush planes and cessnas then I care to count, you can do whatever you please when the plane is heading in a straight line - but when the runway is in sight and it appears you were mid-turn, thats just a bad idea.

Still, cool pic :-D

Thanks, taylor. They're called "critical modes of flight" for a reason. I think he'll find that out over time. As they say, good judgment comes from experience, which mostly comes from bad judgment.
