iMac 2015 with Catalina here... tried to install Sequoia with the OpenCore-Patcher but I have a big problem. Since Catalina partitions the disk into "HD" (for the system) and "HD - Data" (for the files), at the stage where I want to install Sequoia, when I choose the HD, a message tells me that I don't have enough space, that I'm missing 4-5 Gb. The thing is, these 4-5 Gb are missing on the “System” partition, where Catalina installed the system... otherwise I've got like 90 Gb available on the HD (in total).

Could it be that the partition created by Catalina is too small for Sequoia? And why doesn't the Sequoia installer don't detect or consider the entire disk for the installation? Does this mean I have no choice but to do a fresh installation? Delete the HD so that it's no longer partioned?

Thanks for your help!

Sounds like you are attempting an in-place upgrade. In-place may not work as Catalina so old. Backup your data first!

You should watch MrMacintosh videos.

I had like 90 Gb "Purgeable" on my HD... I didn't understand... so I run Onyx for a clean-up and regain all this space... so everything worked from there... I really don't undestand how I could have 90 Gb on a 250 Gb "Purgeable" that I could clean o_O I keep my computer always very clean... anyway, if it happens to someone esle... Onyx it!
