Hey, has macOS 15.8 been released officially (no beta, no RC)? Like… final release?

If so, is the build number the same as the last RC, or has it gone up?

Not yet its on RC2.

It should go up at the same time as Golden Gate official release in a week or two.

Another Sequoia release has been let loose. The Safari 27 release I believe was Seed 5.

New RC Build 24H23 of Sequoia available via the Software update pane; no full installer disk yet.

I noticed problems overwriting apps. Some apps prevent being replaced, even if being restored through TM with the error that they are locked. I doubt they'll fix it.
