Serial Number

    are there any batches that don't have messed up proximity sensors? I'm on the priority list at my local apple store and I hope I don't get a messed up phone. I had an iphone 4 but returned it.

    I heard that if your serial starts with an 8 it was in a bad batch. ???

    Mine is 79026 and it is perfect except for the antenna. That doesn't really bother me though.

    Mine starts with an 8 and I have had no issues whatsoever!

    Mine starts with 8 and my only problem is the proximity sensor...hopefully a fix is around the corner. I'm tiring of muting people, even if they do deserve it.
