So it seems things are not quite so equal.

My other half has an S1 38mm and I've got an S2 42mm.

From very similar usage she is now seeing far worse battery life. Yesterday I did a full day with 74% left and 2hrs usage. She had nearly 3 hrs usage but it only had 12% left at the end of the day.

I've re-started it and closed a few apps to see if that helps things. She loves it and isn't bother but the size difference and the larger batter in an S2 plus the larger watch might be having a bigger effect than I'd thought.

I've had continual issues with battery drain on the S1. Tried different things to no avail, it ends up flat by the end of the day with no more usage than the original S0.

I am trying low brightness atm, and that seems to be making a difference.

Did a restart help for you?
I restart my watch every morning now. I don't know why but it seems that my battery life is so much better when I do this.

We closed a couch to 5k app and thats made a big difference.

However my S2 42 has much better battery life at the end of the day than her smaller S1 38mm. That could be because of the smaller batter in the 38mm S1 and my bigger 42 and the 35% larger battery in the S2 I guess.

I got mine on Friday (Series1 42) so I had the weekend to test it.
Battery life is good and I played with the Watch a lot (especially with Siri). Friday and Saturday night I wore it to monitor my sleep, but last night I decided to leave it on bedside table and it was already charged so I plugged it off and put it in airplane mode.
This morning I woke up and it had 75% of battery life to my great surprise. I didn't wear it so it couldn't monitor my heart beat or my movements via the accelerometer.
Next time I'll leave it in charge the whole night, or enable battery save mode (it should only display the time) and see if battery continues to drain during the night

My series 2, from 7:00am to 17:00pm -> 30% battery used. That is a 3% per hour.
I'm seeing people saying about 2% per hour, don't know...

Background tasks disabled, wake on raise enabled, brightness mid, haptic mid, no apps installed.
