We know the Series 12 (right) is 1mm wider than the Series 10/11 (left) from Apple’s tech specs, but it looks like the Series 12 has thicker bezels and a more protruding Digital Crown as well.

As per Apple's Tech Specs page, the display area of the Series 12 is less than the Series 10 and this could mean bigger bezels. Also, from the image, it looks like the crown is indeed more protruding.

… there are different/confusing specs listed in different places, so this is not confirmed at all. I for one believe the display area will be exactly the same.
