Majin Bu agrees ceramic is totally a possibility for Series 10 in a recent tweet. I think this is happening folks.

And that render they shared with the case mockup appears to have the split speaker hole again…

if they ever do a ceramic, I hope it's a limited edition collaboration with Audemars Piguet. AP makes the best ceramic watches in the world

Not sure why it'd have to be a collaboration. Simply a ceramic shell with a stainless steel core as we saw in the Series 2, 3 & 5.

I miss my Ceramic S2 and S5. I went with the Ultra 1 and 2 the last couple of years but need a change. Hoping the S10 comes in ceramic or has a decent redesign. Or maybe a special finish for the Hermes versions?

I had an S5 Ceramic for a long time, it was a beautiful watch that never scratched or showed age. Sadly I sold it because compared to the newer watches it just wasnt bright enough for my use and I already had like 5 watches that I barely wore. IF they re-introduced it (even at the Hermes only/anniversary edition) it would be an instant buy. I do wonder where Hermes goes if Apple drops the SS. Titanium?

My interpretation of the rumors is Apple is switching to a polished titanium case for all the watches, which won't really look any different from the polished steel. They'll still DLC/PVD coat them for color. Hermes will just be offered in a SBSS/Silver Titanium case.

Oh you're right. Ive seen those 'polished' Ultras, totally fine. Thanks, good catch!

I hope to see a non-ultra Apple Watch in ceramic. I've been waiting for another Apple ceramic watch. I have an Ultra 2 and it's mildly annoying during workouts. So much that I'm thinking of replacing it with a Garmin.

I can see Hermes being offered in Ti but certainly not the regular ones, too expensive. And SS is a very traditional watch material. My take is regular watch still in Alu and SS… but we’ll know more in about 50hrs ;)

Really doubt they release a watch out of ceramic ever again. But if the rumored plastic SE comes in White, I might be tempted to get one as some sort of replacement for my S5 Ceramic. No, it's not a complete replacement, but the S5 is now obsolete WatchOS wise, and the battery life, even with a new (er, replacement Watch from Apple) battery is still bad for me on WatchOS 10.
