Hello, I am trying to pair a series 2 to my iPhone x that is running 15.5. I get the message "watch os 3.2.2, your apple watch is up to date with all the latest bug fixes and security enhancements." I have also tried an iPhone 5S running 12.5.5 and same issue. Anyone ever encounter this? Solutions? Help? Thanks!

My son had a Series 1 which wouldn’t update past the same 3.2. We never did figure out a solution.

I’m glad you asked this question. I’m going to make an appointment with the Apple Store.

No apple wants you to upgrade from that watch it’s time .

Yes, planned obsolescence. Older watches may lack the updated hardware and software, BUT they still provide the core fuctions as intended by apple by displaying messages, weather, heart rate, activity tracker.
