Do you feel like your series 2 on the latest OS performs the same as the OS you received yoir watch with? Reason being I maybe upgrading from a series 0 and want to have an ideal if series 2’s run watch OS5 just fine.

OS5 is as fast as OS4 but slower than OS3
It’s not as smooth and fast as series 3 but stil usable and really faster than S0

I thought my S2 was running awfully under OS5... turns out all it needed was a restart and it was back to normal. It's still working well and I don't see myself replacing it with an S4.

Maybe if an S5 comes out in September, I'll be tempted with picking up the LTE version as having map support would be nice when I get lost on long runs :)

Try workoutdoors and you can have offline maps for long runs on your S2

I have both Series 4 which supplanted my Series 2. On the S2, the latest OS performs better than the previous for sure. That said, there still are a couple of programs like workout and timer which are a little slower than I'd like but it is more than serviceable. Needless to say the S4 performs incredibly well.
