I have a Nike Edition series 2 running WatchOS 5.1.3 (16S535). Every so often it will started rebooting and even a hard reset doesn't stop it. In order to fix it I have to keep reloading from previous backup from 12/4/18 (Which is a clean new watch install on 5.1.1) Since upgrading to WatchOS 5.1.x I have been experiencing this weird issue. My son has the same series 2 as I do and his doesn't do it. I have taken all the apps off except for the 5 or 6 that I have used since getting my Apple Watch. Anyone else experience this issue?

[doublepost=1550861807][/doublepost]You might want to contact Apple chat assistance for advice or repair for your series 2. They had recommended the hard reset on the Watch first holding in the two side buttons, then, the reset from settings app on the Watch, and finally unpair and re-pair, and restore from backup. Apple care provided a packing box, FedEx speedy transport, and evaluation of if Watch is repairable.

My series 2 also had a reboot issue marathon, initially with each IOS upgrade, then sporadically, until it finally just died at one year old. Apple care sent a new series 2. Have had one issue with reboot with the new Watch series 2. Had to resort to several hard resets, unpair and re-pair, restore from backup. Good luck!

I have your same watch but am not experiencing this issue. Hopefully Apple support can help you out :(

It has happened a couple of times. This is a replacement for my original one that the force touch stopped working. It did it on that one as well. My son also has the same watch and hasn't experienced it. I'm thinking it might be an app or something with free space on iCloud.

I’ve had this happen when I don’t have it updated to the latest OS update, also series 2.
