Series 3 demand?

I'm going to pull the trigger on the LTE variant of this. Do think the demand for these verses the supply will require me setting my alarm to get up at 2am my time tomorrow night? Last year at Christmas we had a heck of a time finding a series 2 for my wife. Never having preorderd an Apple Watch before but doing the phone every year, just curious if the watches go like the phones and being up late or early is needed in order to procure one. Any insights would be much appreciated!

I have a SS S0 and I preordered it pretty quickly. I haven't paid attention to how the preorders went since then but imagine I will be up at 3am (EST) to order it. I am going with a 42mm SS S3 (white sport band or possibly the milanese loop if the its all that left).

The fairly limited SS options make me wonder if they will sell out pretty quickly which is why I will be up for the preorder.

I would pre-order at your earliest convenience. I do think there will be some initial constraint, but Apple products tend to be constrained at launches. It's hard to say how much immature they actually have available, which will help guarantee you the earlier you pre-order.
