i exchanged my Gold series 3 GPS only yesterday for Gold GPS/LTE and noticed later that the LTE version had a less pink tone than the GPS only. I thought I was being weird but this morning my friend who has he gold GPS only mentioned it to me and low and behold the LTE version is def lower on the pink tone. Did something change since initial manufacturing to now? Has anyone else noticed the color difference?

Thats the first I have heard of this. Curious to see if you can post any side by side comparisons.
Once you ascertain that there are slight variations in color, which there certainly could be, then what? Are you going to return yours? Call Apple? (they won’t care).
My space gray iPad didn’t match my space gray iPhone or my friend’s space gray watch. I never posted about it because who cares? Literally the only thing you can do about it is notice it and tell people you noticed it. The only bigger waste of time is my reply.

None of the above I just thought I was interesting. I like it the less pink. I just didn’t know if they changed the color slightly from the initial release. But thanks for the waste of time reply. You get an A for. Well you know

It is interesting and there is nothing wrong with your observation. Sometimes it’s the subtle changes Apple doesn’t update or inform the consumer what changes they made to a certain product. Likely because there are so many minor changes over their products, many go un-noticed,
