Series 3 LTE Won't Pair to Car

Was hoping to get some more freedom with the LTE watch for calls and maybe even stream bluetooth music as well, but my 2017 BMW with Business Navigation won't pair.

Anyone have any luck getting the watch to work with their car on their own?

I get to the final screen and both say they can't connect.

In for more feedback because this is something I was thinking about and hoping will work. Harder to leave my phone at home if I can't stream music from the watch in my car!

I've done this with my series 0 but I need to hold the watch to my ear to hear the other person. Is the speaker much louder in the series 3?
