I got the Samsung fast-charge Qi charging pad, and tried it tonight with my iPhone X and Apple Watch Series 3 LTE.

It definitely won't charge my AW3 no matter what position I try. I'll unpack the upright Samsung fast Qi charging stand tomorrow and try that one with the AW3 too.

It does charge my iPhone X from 70% to 94% in one hour (and to 100% in 1hr 23min). I'll estimate about a 4hr wireless charging from 0-100% (AppleInsider says it should be 2.5 hours in their tests).

My generic qi charger off amazon works on my iPhone X and the 8 plus but not my AW 3LTE

FWIW, the Omnicharge 20 with Qi charging does work with the iPhone X, but not the Watch Series 3 Cellular.

Frankly it'd be more of a surprise if a charging pad listed as Qi compatible *didn't* work with the phones. They're supposed to work with any Qi charger, and if it doesn't work the likely fault is the charger.

It seems the AW3 pretty much doesn't work with most Qi chargers, though as documented there are some exceptions.

So, neither the Samsung fast-charge charging pad or charging stand will charge the Apple Watch S3 LTE. Both will charge my iPhone X.

This video must be a fake then. Because based on what you said, and my Coworker's Samsung Convertible Qi Fast Charging pad, the AW3 does not charge when placed on it. I was bummed after I tried it with my Coworker's pad this morning.

I like how the description says, "do not try at home..."

I just tried again and neither of my Samsung rapid chargers (stand and pad bought at Best Buy not fakes) will charge my Apple Watch LTE.
