Is Series 3 considered too old to buy now? I like the size of it better and the price. But not sure if it’s dumb to buy it now...

For the price it’s still a great option.

My wife’s birthday end of month and will be getting her one for sure. For £199 it’s great value

Well I ended up getting the 5😬. Yes the screen is big but I really like it now!

The Series 3 is still very much relevant with the dual core processor. It may lack certain features, but for the price, I would expect at least two more years of watchOS updates. If I was in the market for an older Apple Watch, the Series 3 would be it.

The Series 3 is still a great option. When I sold my Series 4 prior to purchasing my Series 5 I went back to my Series 3 for a couple weeks. The Series 3 seemed almost as fast as the Series 4. Unless you just want the bigger screen, I think the Series 3 is a great Watch. It’s also still the reigning battery champ. It has the largest battery coupled with a smaller screen.

And since Apple kept the Series 5 with the same processor as the Series 4, the Series 3 is still only 1 generation behind.
