i know it’s been a while for me, upgrading to a series 4, from a series 0, but man, this charging cord is frickin short!

My series 0 cord was twice as long. It was a bummer to find this out today during unboxing.

Yeah there was an uproar when that change was made. I don’t know which series they changed it on though.

Edit: only series 0 received the longer charging cable from what I can find.

It was a total surprise to me. It doesn’t take away from the overall product, but I would have loved the longer charger for my nightstand.

I already parted with my series 0 and my charger.

Can you use a series 0 cable with a series 4 watch? I still have my S0 cable and was looking forwarded to having two cables if the old one works with the new watch. Thanks for any responses!!

You can. The only difference is length.

The series 0 came with a super long cord. My series 1 came with the shorter cable you see now.

This saddens me.

The first GEN watch is offered a longer charging cable, then it changed when the Series 2 launched with a shorter cable. Not a huge deal to me, but for others, I can see why.

I thought that apple was going to make the AW Qi Compatible like the iPhone 8 and X.
It is Qi, but just a proprietary version of it. Apple made this proprietary version before the iPhone charging and is sorta "stuck" with it or lose backwards compatibility with current charging pucks.
