A mysterious location in the middle of nowhere
Figured maybe we could get a shipment thread going for those (like me) who are simply looking for a way to kill time before next Friday arrives ... or for those who like to unneedingly freak out over shipment statuses (also like me) :)

For those of you who have ordered an Apple Watch on launch ... do you remember whether your Apple Watch shipped from China or not (like most, if not all pre-order iPhones)?
Or do they have a warehouse somewhere in the US where they’re dispatched from?
I’ve have/had the S0 and the S1, but I can’t remember because it’s been so long.

With that said ... my order is “still in progress.” How about everyone else?

I don't remember the specifics, since it was 3+ years ago (S0 42mm SS). I also preordered from AT&T and ended up getting an Oct 1-8 delivery timeframe due to app and site issues. They just authorized my card early this morning at 1:23 am EST, despite my preorder being placed Friday morning at 3:07 am EST. I wonder if my shipping date will get adjusted.

“Order in Progress” with launch day delivery here. Interestingly, my iPhone Xs with launch day delivery has moved to “Preparing to Ship.” I had a launch day delivery of an S3 last year. I don’t remember where it shipped from - I want to say Texas for some reason, but I may be wrong. I know launch day iPhones usually ship from China.

My wife went from an S0 to an S3 very recently. I’ve been jealous at how well it performs, certainly a huge improvement from the S0 and even from my S1 !

I wanted to go to the in-store pick up route as well, just to add a little excitement to launch day. Unfortunately I’m really busy that day and can take the day off from work.

How can you tell where it shipped from? I know I ordered my AW at the exact minute the store went live and it's still on Processing with delivery for 26th Sept.

Was waiting for this thread. Keep refreshing UPS website hoping it picks up my tracking number.
 
I ordered myself a Gold Stainless Steel 40mm Gold Milanese loop cellular + GPS Apple Watch at 8:30pm. I had no idea I was getting one, and then my godfather hit me up and was all like I have $3500 for you in an account I opened when you were a baby, how do I get it to you. Hah! I always get lucky like that with my apple products. Something similar happened with my iPhone X last year. But was a couple weeks after release. I’m always apart of these things so I’ll start with this template:

Order Date: 9/14 @ 8:32PMEST
Estimated Ship Date: October 12 - 19th by Next Day or Express Shipping (chatted them to upgrade, wasn’t an option during checkout)
Watch Type: 40mm Gold SS
Band Type: Gold Milanese Loop

Both my SSSB 44mm and Space grey 256mb max are in processing with a 21st September delivery date but that won’t chive for a while as I am doing a pick up from my nearest Apple Store

You guys are making me jealous!

I didn't get to order as soon as the store went online. It will be well into next month unless I can sneak into a store and get a 44mm alu black.

I hope your order gets moved up. This happens sometimes! Happened to me with the iPhoneX last year.

Thanks! I'm wondering if I should pop by the Apple store Friday but I fear it would be a fruitless endeavour...
