I’m still “processing” with nothing showing in my UPS My Choice. HOWEVER, I did the trick above and found my watch by searching for

1. Go to UPS.com
2. Click on Tracking Header Link
3. Select Track and Tracking History (from drop down)
4. Locate the Track Packages & Freight Tab
5. (Do not Track by Number) Select “Track By Reference”
6. Input your order number - kind of - remove the letter in front and the last two digits. EX: “W123456789” -> “1234567”
7. A full blown tracking number will appear in the results field (center & right of page) along with a status of the tracking number if it found your reference number
8. Click on the tracking number
9. Hur-Ray!

This page shows my watch with a final destination in Missouri with a delivery date of Wednesday - I assume this is a central staging area of some sort before it makes its way to Minnesota for Friday delivery.

Other fun note - that tracking number now shows up in my UPS App and states it originated from Corona, CA USA.

Cool trick. Not seeing anything yet on the website. Will keep checking ...!

Sad: I am missing all the Friday, shipping fun.

Happy: I got a Nike version over a regular version.

Your patience will be worth it! :)

Are you sure you're tracking the right item? It shouldn't state a date earlier than Friday.

Pretty sure it’s correct. All the data lines up. My final destination is set for Sept 21. The package originated from Apples warehouse in Corona, CA, could easily hit a Midwest hub in Missouri by Wednesday before it’s sorted, sent to Minnapolis. It’s about an 8 hour drive from Missouri to Minnesota.

When I preordered my series 2 Apple Watch in 2016, it shipped from a warehouse in Tennessee.

This year I ordered a 44mm SS Apple Watch with Milanese loop, and it has been “Preparing for Shipment” since this morning. I’ve received shipping info for my Xs Max, but not my watch yet.

Tri-City, IN origin? I’m in Indiana. Don’t know where that is but can’t be far. Maybe that’s why I haven’t had any shipping info show up. It wouldn’t need to ship until Thursday.
[doublepost=1537143966][/doublepost]That’s just 3-1/2 hrs. from me.
[doublepost=1537144173][/doublepost]I must not be reading that right. Why would it go from California to Indiana then back to Missouri? I’m really confused. Hmm should have said this is in regards to the Natist’s UPS info.

7 ounces from California arriving 2 days early?

Mine shows .60KG, from China, for Friday.

Im still in processing but ordered 30min past launch time and was given a Sept 21 delivery date. - nothing beyond that is official.

In past years some people have seen earlier delivery dates.. but you won’t get it early unless someone messes up. Apple somehow has them shipped with delivery locked into no earlier than the release date, even if it’s sitting in your city. Just history I’ve seen happen.

Does anyone know the shipped weight of an Apple Watch? I have something showing up in UPS my choice that weighs .7 kg. Not sure if that is my phone or watch.

Yes I remember one instance several years back when someone got something a day before launch. That was a big deal on the forums, haha.

ME I hope! Lol my credit card is still pending but the amount is changed, making me wonder if it’s about to go through. My UPS still says ready for UPS, but it’s not tracking yet.

My Gold Aluminum 44mm was scanned in at 6:13 pm local time on Monday in Suzhou, China and was scanned for departure at 6:49 PM (6:49 AM EDT). If it follows the pattern from my S2 pre-order two years ago, it will stop off in Shanghai shortly before preceding to Anchorage, AK and then Louisville, KY. It will sit in Louisville for almost an entire day before they put it on a truck to Cincinnati, OH on Thursday evening for the 90-mile drive north.
