I have the SS SG series 4 watch with insurance. I have an appt set up to get my screen repaired, hit a door knob and the screen got a hairline crack. Do you know how much the repair will be and how long it will take to get my watch back? Thanks

if your insurance is apple care, $69

pretty sure even at the store they will have to mail it off, and will take some time, and you may or may not get your watch back. ask them

if you have the room on a credit card, they can mail the new one, and put a charge/hold on your card to cover the cost, which will be refunded once they receive the old one.

I did this over the phone when i broke my s0, had the new one in 2 days, mailed it back had the refund within the week, and spent about 10 minutes on the phone total.
otherwise, it's ....
2-3 days for the return box to arrive
2-3 days for the watch to get back to them
processing time
2-3 days for the new one to come to you.
so you'll be without for a week or 2

Yes I do have Apple care. So I can get a new one mailed to me and I return the old one and once they receive it they will drop the hold?

yes
and you can do it over the phone and save the time of going to the store if you want.

Thanks. That is what I did. They said I would still pay for the screen replacement under my insurance price but it’s worth it to not be without my watch.

oh, yes you still pay for repairs

but they put a hold for the cost of the 2nd watch, until they receive yours back

sorry, realize now that wasn't 100% clear before.

I placed the order Sunday and received the new watch on Wednesday. I have already sent back the other watch. This was a very fast solution.
